Christmas Eve at 4th Street
December 24, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Our Christmas Eve Service will not be in-person but will premiere on Facebook or on our website at 7:00 p.m., December 24th. We have prepared special bags that contain a bulletin and order of service, a candle, and a communion kit of bread and juice so that you can participate at home. We have also made up some bags for the children that include activities and a glow stick. They will be available for you to come and pick up at the church on Wednesday, December 23, from 8:00 a.m. thru 6:00 p.m. You may also pick up your beautiful poinsettia(s) you ordered and your offering envelopes will be upstairs in your mailboxes. *
I am sure of this, that He who began a good work
in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus
Christ. Philippians 1:6 ESV
Whether we meet in person or online, we know that the baby in the manger is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Nothing – not even COVID-19 – escapes His attention, and we can be sure He will complete the “good work” He has purposed us to do in these re-markably unsettled times. I wish you all a very wonderful Christmas and New Year. We can use this experience to draw near to God and God will certainly draw near to us.
*If you would like a worship bag, your poinsettia, or your offering envelops and you are physically unable to pick them up next Wednesday, please call Carol Wingert at the church office and we will arrange for these things to be delivered to you.
