Ongoing Service Opportunities

Serving Our Neighbors (S.O.N.)

S.O.N. – It’s cold outside, but within our church there is a warm feeling as we collect hats, gloves/mittens and scarves for men, women and children of all ages.  During the month of January, we will continue to collect these items and give out at our February 5th Midweek evening. What a great way to warm the hearts of our neighbors!

Food Pantry

We are regularly accepting boxed and canned food donations for the Chambersburg food pantry. Please drop off items in the labeled barrels in the Narthex and Brethren Life Center. The Food Pantry currently does not need any egg cartons.

The Helping Hands Circle

The Helping Hands Circle is a group of ladies that gets together monthly to work on projects for the community. Projects that they have done in the past include knitting hats for newborns, college student care packages, making cookies for the Carlisle truck stop ministry and the prison ministry, assemble gifts for shut-ins, make blankets for those in need during the winter, etc. For more information, please contact Carol Wingert in the church office.
